Our CSR charter
We believe that the future of events lies in events that are more respectful of the environment and of people. That is why we are committed to the continuous introduction of good practices to make the By Kadrance venues more sustainable and more caring.
Our CSR charter below is updated regularly.

Our CSR commitments

Catering
- Offer our clients quality, seasonal food from short supply chains
- Adapt the catering offer to the format of each event to avoid waste
- Give unconsumed products to charities

Waste management
- Use reusable tableware and avoid unnecessary packaging
- Sort waste
- Use eco-labelled cleaning products
- Recycle decor items
- Collect and recycle cigarette butts

Solidarity
- Offer our clients the option of donating a percentage of their booking to a charity
- Provide relevant training to our teams to develop their skills and encourage their professional fulfilment
- Welcome and train apprentices and interns to share our passion for the profession
- And when the opportunity arises: make our venues available to charities, as was the case for the Red Cross food bank from May to July 2020.

The venues
- Favour natural ventilation rather than air conditioning
- Light the spaces with LED bulbs
- Maintain outdoor areas without pesticides, using drip irrigation
- Use a flushing system with an interruptible mechanism

Travel
- Provide information on nearby public transport and Vélib’ stations
- Provide bicycle racks for our clients, partners and colleagues
- Raise staff awareness of public transport and cycling
